Successful Cases
January 2020 - Update - FULL Reinstatement
February 2020
Our client came to us with driving under the influence of alcohol charges stemming from 1988, 1995, 1996, 2001, 2002, 2004, and 2005. This is a grand total of seven driving under the influence charges arrests. The client no longer lived in Illinois and with such a high number of DUI charges on his record he was mandated to be what is called a high-risk dependent in remission category.
In addition, the formal lifetime ban applied to him because he had more than 4 convictions which required sobriety for a minimum of 3 years and no DUI arrests for at least 10 years.
After proving that the client had an ongoing support system and had been sober for over 10 years and that he had truthfully straightened out his path in life, the Secretary of State granted driving reinstatement and lifted the hold that Illinois placed on his National Driver Databse record that prevented him from getting his drivers license.
