Successful Cases
Secretary of State Formal Administrative Hearing Level Two – Significant Risk. In the Matter of the Revocation of the Driver’s License and Driving Privileges of GP
Our client came into us after receiving three DUI arrests within an 18 month period. He had no confidence at all that we would be able to successfully reinstate his driving privileges on the first try. While I never guarantee to any of my prospective clients that they will receive their license on the first try, we do have a very high success rate. In this situation, the client was evaluated and was found to have the following symptoms of dependence: increased tolerance, hangovers, stress relief use and parental concerns relative to his use and socialization habits. Despite that, we were able to prepare the client so that he could truthfully discuss with the Secretary of State the facts and circumstances surrounding his DUI arrests. Some of it was stress, some of it was that he was going through a divorce. After the hearing, the Secretary of State found that our client's testimony was credible and they granted him a restricted permit. At the final hearing for full reinstatement, our client was granted his Illinois drivers license back. This was another successful case where we obtained our client's license back after a Secretary of State formal administrative hearing on the first attempt.
