One of the most common questions I hear is how long does it take from the time we apply for a hearing with the Secretary of State to reinstate a drivers license until the actual hearing date occurs.
Lately, it seems to be taking longer than ever to obtain a formal hearing. I would say that you can expect to obtain your formal administrative hearing within 45 – 60 days from the time you apply until the actual heating date.
This is not the same timeline as when you will successfully obtain your driving privileges as you will need to wait an additional 35 days to get the results of the hearing from the Secretary of State.
