Almost every hearing I perform with my clients at any of the informal hearing locations around the State of Illinois and also in Joliet for the formal license reinstatement hearings, people ask me how long will it take to get the results of my hearing?
Many clients think that you get the results of the license reinstatement hearing the day of the hearing. Not correct.
Here is a general guideline for the time it takes to get your answer from the Illinois Secretary of State…
Formal hearings in Joliet – 4 – 6 weeks.
Informal hearings – 5 – 8 weeks.
